Download your site's data

You can now download your site’s database and files yourself, like the uploads. Handy for a copy of your own, to work locally or to move.

What is new

• cubli db export downloads the database as a packed SQL dump.
• cubli pull --data gets the database and the files next to the code.
• Your AI tool can do it too, and through the API you ask for an export.
• Everything goes into the folder .cubli-data/. It never goes along in an upload and stays out of git.

Why

Your data is yours. You should always be able to get it yourself, without mailing us.

How it works

1. Go to your app’s folder, linked with the CLI.
2. Type cubli db export for the database, or cubli pull --data for everything.
3. Keep the files safe: they hold your customers’ data. Variables and secrets are not in them.

Only the workspace’s admins can download data. Every download is logged.
