Your account and two-factor authentication

Every Cubli account asks for a second step when signing in. Your hosting and domains are worth it. You choose how.

Create an account

1. Go to app.cubli.io and fill in your name, email address and a password (at least 8 characters).
2. Click Create account.
3. You get a mail to confirm your email address. The button in that mail signs you in straight away.

Nothing arrived? Check your spam folder, or sign in: we then send the link again.

Were you invited to someone else’s workspace? Create your account with the address the invitation went to. You then land in that workspace straight away.

Choose your second step

After confirming, you see Protect your account. Choose one of the two:

• A code by e-mail: when you sign in on a new device, we mail you a 6-digit code. It works for 10 minutes. Nothing to install.
• An authenticator app: a code from an app such as 1Password, Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator. You scan a QR code and get backup codes. Keep them somewhere safe and click I saved them, continue.

Start with a code by e-mail and you can switch to an app later.

Sign in with a passkey

With a passkey you sign in with your fingerprint, face or your device’s PIN, without a password.

1. Click your name at the bottom left, then Account settings.
2. Under Security, click Add passkey and follow your device’s steps.

From then on, choose Sign in with a passkey when you sign in.

Forgot your password

On the sign-in screen, click Forgot your password? and fill in your email address. You get a link to choose a new password. The second step stays as it was.

Lost the phone with your authenticator app? When you sign in, choose Use a backup code, or E-mail me a code instead.
